After 57 years in existence, the Scarborough Downs Harness Racetrack continues to enjoy a great reputation. Sitting among the tall pines in the heart of Southern Maine, this attraction covers 500 acres of scenic land. Live harness horseracing takes place here each year from April through December and offers simulcasting of other premier thoroughbred and harness races from throughout the United States and Canada – 363 days a year.
