Hulls Cove, Salisbury Cove, and Town Hill are the communities that jointly comprise the township of Bar Harbor Maine. In addition, part of the composition of Acadia National Park includes Bar Harbor. Moreover, in conversation about traveling or tourism, Bar Harbor, Maine has become synonymous with Acadia National Park.

One of the picturesque little villages that comprise Bar Harbor, Maine is Town Hill. Located in the central part of Mount Desert Island toward the north end, Town Hill has a small city center where you can find a few unique shops and local services.

The little villages that comprise the townships on Mount Desert Island are so small that they are all included in the population count of the townships. Each village has just a few hundred people in their close-knit residential areas. Time spent in the smaller communities serve to give the visitor a true feel for the Downeast area of Maine and the locals who are fortunate enough to have Acadia National Park as their back yard.

Close to Town Hill, you will find Stone Barn Farm – a historic site, which aptly lives up to its name – it is literally an old "stone barn". This is just part of the beautiful scenery that can be found in the area.
