Camden Snowbowl Ski Area in Maine has a 1,300 feet mountain and is located just minutes from Camden, Maine. This is the only place in the East where you can enjoy the snow, gliding down the ski slopes and enjoy the spectacular ocean vista at the same time.

In addition to skiing, you can enjoy tubing or tobogganing. Snowbowl has a great tubing area and has the only toboggan chute in all of the State of Maine. The U. S. National Toboggan Championships take place here each year.

Due to the coastal environment, much of the snow is manufactured but occasionally a snowstorm will come in from the coast.

Camden Snowbowl is a wonderful place to learn to ski or snowboard. The resort area is small and community oriented. With its close proximity to Camden, you can also enjoy other amenities including great places to stay, wonderful shopping, and famous Maine dining.
