Boothbay Railway Museum, Railroad Village

Visiting the Boothbay Railway Village is an educational experience for the whole family. This re-created historic village holds a number of fascinating exhibits of antique vehicles. Take a ride in a coal-fired steam train or on an old Model T. It’s a trip back to early days that you won’t forget.

A trip back in time can be enlightening, and Boothbay Railway Village offers just that – an enlightening trip into the historic past. You’ll see a wide array of antique vehicles spanning several decades. You can ride through the historic village on a steam train for a treat.

There are a number of events happening in Boothbay Railway Village depending on the time of year you visit. In October there is a great Halloween event for the younger kids, Thanksgiving train rides in November, and of course Christmas train rides where the kids can meet Santa Claus.

• A 1916 Model T Ford Speedster

Hours and Admission

The museum is open seven days a week. Village hours are: 

• Monday through Friday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm (train rides are on the half hour)
• Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm (train rides on the hour)

Price of daily admission is $9.00 for adults and $5.00 for children (3 to 16 years).
