Acadia National Park is a paradise for anyone who enjoys the great outdoors.  Local "small town" communities with an air of hospitality and charm surround it.  However, even in the smaller towns, the motels, hotels, and even some bed and breakfasts offer their guests the convenience of high-speed internet connections. more info

Many individuals vacation to get away from it all.  However, in today's high tech world, getting away from it may include taking your lap top with you or locating a place to stay where you can have access to a computer and the internet.

Nearly all lodging options in or near Acadia National Park provide access to the internet for their guests.  This includes the majority of the historic bed and breakfasts, motels, hotels, cottages and cabins, making it easy for their guests to stay in touch with folks back home, check their e-mail, or stay connected to their work.

In addition to the various lodging facilities in the area, the Jessup Memorial Library located in Bar Harbor provides walk-in wireless internet access.  The public is allowed the use of the computer located within the building, and anyone who has a laptop with wireless capabilities can easily get on line when near the library. Simply bring your wireless-enabled laptop computer or other device to the Library, turn it on, and go. There is no charge to use the service and the best part is there is no waiting for an available PC!
