Fees & Permits

An entrance fee is charged to enter Acadia National Park from May 1 through October 31. The remainder of the year, no entrance fee is charged. Once you enter the Park, additional fees may be charged if you plan to camp or to participate in any of the Park Sponsored programs.

  • Private Vehicle Permit: $25
  • Motorcycle Permit: $20
  • Individual Permit (For an individual entering by foot or bicycle): $12

Annual Recreation Pass:

  • Acadia National Park Annual Pass: $50
    Valid for 12 months of unlimited visits to Acadia National Park
  • America the Beautiful Annual Pass: $80
    Valid for 12 months of unlimited visits to all National Parks

Lifetime Pass:

  • America the Beautiful Senior Pass: $10
    Lifetime access to all National Parks for individuals over 62 years.
  • America the Beautiful Access Pass: Free
    Lifetime access to all National Parks for individuals with permanent disabilities.

Camping Passes can only be purchased inside the park (prices per night). 

Blackwoods Campground:

  • $30 (May-October)
  • $15 (April and November)
  • Free (December-March)

Seawall Campground:

  • $22 walk-in
  • $30 drive-in

In the Spotlight
