Campground Details
It is a primitive campground with 5 sites accessible only by mailboat.

- Open May 15th to October 6th, $20/night
- 6 person limit per site
- Sites are equipped with lean-to wooden shelters (with 3 sides and a roof), fire ring, and picnic table
- Compostable toilet and well on site
Reservations
Reservation requests must be made by mail and must be postmarked on April 1st or later. You can request a reservation request form by phone (207-288-3338) or download it). The maximum length stay is 5 days (May 15-June 14 and September 1-October 14) or 3 days (June 15-September 15). If you need more than one site, you must submit more than one reservation request (in a separate envelope).
Ferry Information
Take the passenger ferry from Stonington to access Isle au Haut and Deer Harbor Campground. It is available on a first come, first serve basis. See the schedule and rates.
