Bar Harbor Medical & First Aid

There are no emergency medical services within Acadia National Park; however first aid help is available. Mount Desert Island Hospital is located in Bar Harbor, Maine. It is a modern, 49 bed medical facility that provides 24 hour emergency and cardiac care. Mount Desert Island Hospital provides intensive care, respiratory services, and laboratory services.
