The Maine Maritime Academy (MMA) is a small, co-educational, public college that is located in Castine, Maine. This thirty-five acre college campus rests on the tip of a peninsula in scenic Penobscot Bay. The full-time faculty comes from many different backgrounds including industrial positions in engineering, marine science, maritime management, ship operations, and specializing in small vessel design and operation. Other part time personnel come from various domestic and foreign universities.
