The Bar Harbor Marina is part of the Bar Harbor Regency facilities in Bar Harbor, Maine. It is set against one of the town’s most stunning views of Bar Harbor’s stunning oceanfront. Bar Harbor’s main marina is located on the grounds of the Bar Harbor Regency Hotel, offering picturesque scenery and ocean views that are amongst the best the town has to offer. Renowned for its hospitality, the Regency’s marina is just a short distance from the wonders of Acadia National Park. Guests can enjoy waterfront dining, varied shopping choices, exciting entertainment and still take in varied oceanside recreation. The Bar Harbor Marina offers varied activities for young and old alike, including whale watching, kayaking and sailing.
The marina is characterized by a large dock, two hundred feet long and one hundred and forty feet wide. There is limited space for moorings, so reservations are highly recommended. Reservations can be made through the hotel. Docking costs are calculated based on linear feet/day, with inclusive access to the hotel and marina facilities.
Visitors to Bar Harbor Marina can dock sailboats and yachts in their Frenchman’s Bay location. The marina is gated and vessels are limited to up to one hundred and fifty feet in length. Boaters are advised that the harbor’s length is only two hundred feet maximum, fifteen feet deep and only has a channel entrance width into the marina of fifteen feet.
Docking costs include varied marina amenities. These include water hook-ups (potable) and electrical hook-ups (30 to 100 amps). Other local hotel amenities and facilities included as part of the costs for docking, include laundry (self-service), the jogging/walking path, the fitness room, the putting green, the tennis courts, the Jacuzzi, the pool, the restaurants and bar (Edenfield Restaurant, Stewman’s Lobster Pound and the Tiki Bar), free Island Explorer bus rides, ATMs and public phones. Boaters also are afforded with easy access to the local Acadia National Park and varied local recreation, shopping, activities and events.
