Hulls Cove Visitor Center, Acadia

The best place to begin your exploration of Acadia National Park is Hulls Cove Visitor Center. You may often hear this referred to as the Summer Visitor Center, as it is generally open from mid April through October. Here you can browse the Park related publications and check the schedule of activities and events.

Program and Activities available at the Hulls Visitor Center include

• A free 15-minute audiovisual program, which will help you, plan your exploration of Acadia National Park.
• Varieties of free publications are available, including pamphlets and brochures about the area, books, and maps, which can be purchased.
• Hulls Cove Visitor Center is staffed with courteous, experienced and educated individuals who are happy to answer any questions. The staff will be happy to help you plan your trip.
• You can purchase or rent a cassette tape or CD tour of Acadia and a tape player if you need one. This can give you additional insight to everything that you will see while touring the Park.
• For the kids, check out the Junior Ranger program. For the whole family, ask about the ranger-led activities.
